How we help students feel better about themselves, and perform better at school

We Provide

Staff Training

Equipping educators to create safe and inclusive learning environments

Mental health directly impacts the academic and extracurricular success of students. The Converge Staff Training equips teachers and administrators with the knowledge they need to create safe and inclusive learning environments, reduce stigma around mental health, and better understand how to connect students with appropriate resources and support. The Converge training module is designed to improve mental health outcomes for students, accelerate academic and extracurricular success, and create a strong, supportive school community.

Individual Therapy

Therapeutic support for any student who wants or needs it

The Converge team of social workers and therapists can provide school-based mental health treatment to any student who wants or needs support. This approach aims to increase access to mental health services for students who may not otherwise receive it due to financial or logistical barriers.

The individual therapeutic design promotes healthy emotional and behavioral development, improves academic performance, assists in decreasing in class behaviors, and enhances overall quality of life for students.

Clinical Supervision

Supporting the next generation of school counselors

In the state of Colorado, Licensed Social Workers (LSW) and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidates (LPCC) are required to obtain ongoing close oversight and review of clinical practice prior to obtaining licensure. Converge provides a supportive and structured environment for these individuals to receive guidance, feedback, and direction from an experienced and qualified supervisor.

Our clinical supervision curriculum and providers ensure that your team is able to provide high quality care to students; identifies and coaches to areas for improvement; and enhances core competencies. Our clinical supervision programming provides a pathway for licensure compliance while reducing staff burnout and increasing job satisfaction by providing a meaningful structure for career development.

Mental Health Education

A five-session therapeutic program for teens

Our signature 'Take Five' program uses art and solution focused brief therapy to help students build personalized mental health skills. The five-session model is a short-term, goal-focused, evidenced-based approach that incorporates positive psychology principles and practices to help students design solutions for their daily lives.

In the most basic sense, the program is a hope-friendly, future-oriented vehicle for formulating, achieving, and sustaining behavioral change. Take Five is designed to show participants that they are capable of managing incoming mental health needs and that they have a strong community support system that will assist them in times of need.
